SolidGraft — Terms of Service, Privacy Policy & Refund Policy

Effective date: 1 June 2026

SolidGraft ("the Service", "SolidGraft", "we", "us", "our") is a web and mobile application for tradesmen and service businesses to create job cards and manage quotations, record work, capture customer signatures, manage inventory and customers, and generate documents.
SolidGraft is operated by Blocksolid Pty Ltd (registration number 2018/216771/07), of 1 Villa Napoli, 28 Maretha Maartens Street, Langenhoven Park, Bloemfontein, South Africa ("Blocksolid").

You can reach us at:

By creating an account or using SolidGraft, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund & Cancellation Policy, all set out below.

Part A — Terms of Service
1. Definitions

  • "You" / "Customer" — the business that subscribes to SolidGraft.

  • "Users" — the people (owner, technicians, staff) you authorise to use the Service under your account.

  • "Your Content" — everything you and your Users enter into SolidGraft, including your own customers' details, job records, signatures, photos and voice notes.

  • "Subscription" — your paid licence to use the Service.

2. The Service and your licence
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use SolidGraft for your business for as long as your Subscription is active. One licence covers up to five (5) Users. You may not resell, sublicence, or provide the Service to third parties as your own.
3. Accounts and Users
You are responsible for all activity under your account, for keeping login details secure, and for the conduct of your Users. You must ensure your Users comply with these Terms. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.
4. Free trial
New accounts include a 14-day free trial. No card or payment details are required to start the trial. To continue using SolidGraft after the trial, you must add a card or submit a manual payment before the trial ends. If no payment method is loaded and no payment is received by the end of the trial, the Subscription does not activate and access ends automatically — you will not be charged.
5. Fees, billing and renewal
The Subscription costs R250 per licence per month (VAT inclusive). Billing is in advance: each payment covers the upcoming monthly billing period, and access to that period is granted once payment is made. Card payments are processed securely by Paystack and renew automatically at the start of each new period until cancelled. You may also pay in advance by manual EFT, Capitec Pay or PayShap for a full billing period. Prices may change on reasonable notice; any change will not affect a period you have already paid for.
If a payment fails or is not received, we may send reminders and, after the grace period described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, suspend your account until payment is made. A suspended account can still log in to make payment.
6. Your Content and our role as Operator
As between you and us, Your Content belongs to you. You are responsible for its accuracy and for ensuring you have the right and any necessary consent to load it into SolidGraft — including the personal information of your own customers.
For the personal information you and your Users load about your customers, we act as your Operator (processor) under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 ("POPIA"). We process that information only to provide the Service to you and on your instructions, and we do not use it for our own purposes. See the Privacy Policy in Part B for detail.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the Service unlawfully or to store unlawful content; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems; interfere with or disrupt the Service; reverse-engineer or copy the software; or upload malicious code. We may suspend accounts that breach this clause.
8. Availability and offline use
We aim to keep SolidGraft available and reliable, but we provide it on a "reasonable efforts" basis and do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may carry out maintenance, occasionally with little notice. SolidGraft includes an offline mode that queues work and syncs when a connection returns; while we take care to make this reliable, you remain responsible for confirming that important records have synced.
9. Suspension, cancellation and termination
You may cancel at any time from within the app (see the Refund & Cancellation Policy). We may suspend or terminate your account for non-payment or material breach of these Terms. On termination you may request an export of Your Content within a reasonable period, after which we may delete it in the ordinary course. We will not be liable for loss arising from deletion after you have terminated, save as required by law.
10. Intellectual property
SolidGraft, its software, design and content (other than Your Content) are owned by Blocksolid and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property in the Service to you.
11. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 where it applies. Subject to that:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill.

  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim.

You are responsible for maintaining your own records and backups of business-critical information.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims brought by a third party (including your own customers) arising from Your Content or from your use of the Service in breach of these Terms or of applicable law.
13. Changes to the Service or these Terms
We may improve, change or discontinue features. We may update these Terms from time to time; the current version will always be available on our website, and material changes will be notified in the app or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and you agree to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

Part B — Privacy Policy (POPIA)
We take the protection of personal information seriously and comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 ("POPIA").
1. Who is responsible
Blocksolid Pty Ltd is the responsible party for the personal information we collect about you directly (your account and billing information).
Our Information Officer is Rocky Kotzé, reachable at rocky@blocksolid.co.za.
2. Our two roles

  • As Responsible Party: for the information you give us to open and run your account — your name, business details, contact details and billing records.

  • As Operator (processor): for the personal information you and your Users load about your own customers — their names, contact details, addresses, job records, signatures, photos and voice notes. We process this only to provide the Service to you and on your instructions. You remain the responsible party for that information and are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and share it with us.

3. What we collect

  • Account information: your name, business name, email address, phone number and users.

  • Billing information: subscription and payment records. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor, Paystack — we do not see or store full card numbers.

  • Customer data you load: the details of your customers and jobs described in section 2.

  • Usage and technical data: log data, device and app information needed to run and secure the Service.

4. Why we use it
To provide, maintain and secure the Service; to process payments and manage your Subscription; to provide support; to send you transactional messages about your account and billing; to meet legal and accounting obligations; and, only with your consent, to send marketing.
5. Who we share it with (our operators / sub-processors)
We use trusted service providers to run SolidGraft. They may process personal information on our behalf under appropriate safeguards:

  • Supabase — application hosting and database.

  • Paystack — payment processing.

  • Brevo (Sendinblue) — sending transactional and (where you opt in) other emails.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights.
6. Cross-border transfer
Some of our providers may store or process information outside South Africa. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure the information enjoys a level of protection consistent with POPIA.
7. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including access controls, encryption in transit, and row-level security in our database. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the Regulator of a compromise where the law requires.
8. Retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes. When you close your account we will delete or de-identify personal information in the ordinary course, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
9. Your rights under POPIA
You have the right to: ask what personal information we hold about you and request access to it; ask us to correct or delete information that is inaccurate or no longer needed; object to processing in certain circumstances; withdraw consent to marketing at any time; and lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.
To exercise these rights, contact our Information Officer at rocky@blocksolid.co.za. Where you have loaded personal information about your own customers, those individuals should direct their requests to you as the responsible party; we will assist you as your Operator.
10. Cookies and local storage
SolidGraft is a progressive web app and uses local storage and a service worker on your device to keep you signed in, enable offline use and cache data. These are essential to how the app works. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
11. Marketing
We only send marketing communications if you have opted in, and every marketing message includes an easy way to opt out. Opting out of marketing does not stop essential transactional messages about your account or billing.
12. Children
SolidGraft is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be on our website, and material changes will be notified in the app or by email.
14. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your personal information, contact us first at rocky@blocksolid.co.za. You also have the right to complain to:
The Information Regulator (South Africa) Woodmead North Office Park, 54 Maxwell Drive, Woodmead, Johannesburg, 2191 Complaints email: POPIAComplaints@inforegulator.org.za Website: https://inforegulator.org.za

Part C — Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy applies to subscriptions to SolidGraft.
1. Subscription and billing
SolidGraft is billed as a recurring monthly subscription at R250 per licence per month (VAT inclusive). Billing is in advance — each payment covers the upcoming month, which you access once payment is made. Card subscriptions renew automatically at the start of each new period until cancelled. Payments are processed securely by Paystack.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time from within the SolidGraft app. Cancellation stops all future billing. Your access continues until the end of the current paid billing period, after which the subscription lapses. We do not require notice and there are no cancellation fees.
4. Refunds
Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable. When you cancel, you are not charged again, but fees already paid for the current period are not refunded, and your access remains active until that period ends.
5. Billing errors
If you are charged in error — for example a duplicate charge, or a charge after you cancelled — contact us and we will refund the incorrect amount in full. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Paystack within 3-5 business days.
6. Contact
For cancellation help or refund queries: billing@blocksolid.co.za — +27 51 101 3183.
